International Exposure for Aussie ICT
Melbourne-based ICT company, Inference Communications, is again growing its international portfolio by attending SpeechTEK West, San Francisco January 30 - February 2, 2006.
The company is not shy to international exposure or clients, managing an International Distribution Agreement with leading voice vendor, VoiceObjects, and an alliance with ASX listed QPSX.
The ICT company has also launched and sold a German version of the Talkback product to satisfy international consumer demand and cement commitment to a global presence.
Inference Communications was founded in early 2004 by Melbourne Business School MBA graduates, who commercialised Melbourne Telstra Research Laboratories technology and developed the voice recognition product, Talkback.
Talkback is revolutionizing the speech recognition industry by automating the generation of the complex grammar files that underpin all speech solutions.
Previous technology was renowned for being unsophisticated in its ability to understand natural spoken language, largely due to the limited grammar files that were human generated.
Inference Communications will again this year showcase the best in the industry, by launching a new version of the IGT product at SpeechTEK West.
"We are always researching, investigating and developing improved speech technologies and the new version of IGT is a sign of our commitment to the industry and our client's needs," said Kirsty McCarthy, Inference Communication Sales and Marketing Director.
This is the second time that staff will head overseas for this trade show, with the hope that they will gain some more positive international exposure and increase their domestic profile.
"We are very determined to be the best in the industry and the global interest in Inference Communications has been generated by attending trade shows such as these," said Ms McCarthy.
Inference Communications are also set to attend ICT trade shows in Germany and New York in 2006.
