3PV Adopts Gateway and IP Recording Software from Paraxip Technologies

NEW YORK - Today, at the SpeechTEK 2005 conference in New York City, Third Party Verification, Inc. (3PV) announced that it has selected Paraxip Technologies as its supplier of media gateway and IP call recording software for their next-generation hosted service infrastructure. The Paraxip Gateway product provides 3PV with a seamless upgrade to an IP telephony architecture using their existing computer telephony cards, while the Paraxip IP Record product allows 3PV to fully control the call recording process, whether the calls are automated through a voice platform, or are transferred to an agent using an IP phone or even if the calls are transferred to an agent in an internal or external call center connected through the traditional telephony network.

"We are always looking for ways to work with companies that are the leaders in their industry, in terms of both technology and customer service." said Serge Forest, president and CEO at Paraxip Technologies. "When it comes to third party verification services, 3PV is a clear industry leader as is evident by their track record and reputation as both technology innovators and regulatory experts. We are looking forward to a long and successful relationship."

"Paraxip's products not only allow us to re-use our existing infrastructure of computer telephony cards, they also bring us standard SIP connectivity through a flexible, software-based solution." said Dale Combs, president of 3PV. "The seamless move to a SIP architecture allows us to expand our technology and architectural choices moving forward while at the same time, with the Paraxip IP Record product, retain the level of flexibility and control we require over the call recording and archiving process".

The Paraxip IP Record is unique in that it does not require "data switch monitoring" like most other IP call recording solutions in the market. The product instead leverages the Call Forking feature of the Paraxip Gateway to record calls according to the routing configuration on the gateway, regardless of its location, whether it is connected to an automated application, an IP-based agent or redirected to another endpoint on the Public

Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Furthermore, the IP Record product allows for channel-separated recording, which can bring a lot of value in tuning applications making use of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) in the contact center. The Paraxip Gateway and Paraxip IP Record products are generally available now. Please visit http://www.paraxip.com/ for further information.
