Apple has launched Siri Speech Study, a new iOS app to collect speech data and improve the speech recognition capabilities of its virtual assistant Siri.
The app allows study participants to share voice requests and other feedback with Apple. If Siri misheard a question, for example, they could tell Apple what were really trying to ask. The study is reportedly limited to a select number of users who were invited to participate.
Siri Speech Study is currently available in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and Taiwan regional App Stores.
