IVONA Unveils New Voices and Languages

IVONA Text to Speech, a provider of text-to-speech (TTS) technology, extended its platform of available voices to include American Spanish, Castilian Spanish, French, and German.

The new voices are built on the company's latest TTS platform, IVONA 2, which leverages its BrightVoice technology to create the voices.

The new voices will complement the existing suite of multiple U.S. and U.K. English, Polish, and Romanian voices to reach a wider audience of European and American users. As a result, businesses, application developers, and anyone in need of TTS capabilities can now have access to an even wider array of voices, languages and accents.

"Application developers, mobile device manufacturers, mobile service providers, IVRs, and any customer service companies that want to incorporate text-to-speech want voices that are not only of human sound, tone, and quality but also capable of speaking to their users and customers in their native tongue," said IVONA CEO Lukasz Osowski."For this reason, we continue to expand our suite of languages and accents to ensure that IVONA continues to be the singular TTS resource for any business or developer."

IVONA will continue to expand its suite of voices and languages in the months ahead. Visit http://www.ivona.com/voiceslist to sample recordings of all IVONA languages and voices.
