Indosoft Adds AMD and Voicemail Recognition Functions
Indosoft Inc., developer of Q-Suite, provider of a contact center software suite for Asterisk, has released AMD and Voicemail Beep Tone recognition functions within its Dialplan Builder.
The new functions aim to provide an effective method for determining if an outbound call has been connected to a live person or an automated recording system. Q-Suite provides a mechanism for launching voice broadcasting and notification services by combining its outbound Dialer and IVR capabilities. Businesses setting up Asterisk-based contact center operations using Q-Suite can now quickly deploy and run well-managed outbound IVR notification services as part of their customer contact operations.
Q-Suite is an advanced call center suite with ACD and Dialer software for Asterisk. The combination of Q-Suite and Asterisk provides a cost-effective contact center and telephony platform, according to the company. With the availability of speech recognition functions, organizations can automate customer interactions and enhance productivity of their contact center operations.
"The implementation of Asterisk Speech Recognition application program interface [API] through UniMRCP [a standards-based connector] makes available powerful speech recognition functionality provided by well established speech recognition engines. The Dialplan Builder and the Dialer driven contact management system within Q-Suite allows quick execution of powerful outbound IVR campaigns," said Gabe Bourque, CEO, Indosoft, in a statement.
The Dialplan Builder within Q-Suite is a drag and drop GUI tool to set up call flow, call routing, and call control using a WYSIWYG editor, according to the company. It provides access to Asterisk Dialplan functions as well as Q-Suite ACD functions. AMD and tone detection based on Lumenvox Speech Engine provide accurate detection of answering machine and voicemail beeps.
Q-Suite's Dialer and campaign management capability allows users to set up list-based outbound notification services. Call center program managers can schedule and manage these campaigns through Q-Suite's contact center list management tools. During the Dialer operation, successful connects can be routed to any IVR to play notification messages setup through the Dialplan Builder. The accurate detection of AMD and Voicemail Beeps will allow the Dialer to leave voicemails properly, the company said.
