First Advantage has installed Nexidia's Forensic Search software in its global data centers and is integrating Nexidia's patented phonetic search technology into its Web-based review platform, Global RPM. First Advantage customers will be able to review audio and video content from within Global RPM.

"Our partnership with First Advantage is yet another example of the increasing demand for efficient and affordable tools for reviewing audio and video content," said Jeff Schlueter, vice president of the legal market at Nexidia, in a statement. "As an industry leader, First Advantage is taking steps to ensure its clients have the tools required to manage all of their eDiscovery needs."

"As the volumes and varieties of discoverable unstructured data continue to increase, the flexibility and ability to rapidly but defensibly reduce the time required to interrogate and review it is of paramount importance in eDiscovery," said Andy Macdonald, CEO of First Advantage Litigation Consulting. "Combining Nexidia's Audio Discovery tools with the unparalleled textual linguistic capabilities of our review platform is the most recent example of our commitment to provide our customers with best-of-breed technology, defensibility, and service wherever they do business."
