SpeechWorks Selects LocusDialogSTS Platform for SpeechSite 3.0 Auto-Attendant Solution

BOSTON, MA - SpeechWorks International Inc. (Nasdaq: SPWX) announced the availability of SpeechSite 3.0 auto-attendant as a complete, packaged solution powered by LocusDialog, the provider of speech-enabled enterprise call routing solutions. SpeechSite 3.0 combines the enhanced call routing features of the LocusDialogSTS application platform with the superior performance and accuracy of SpeechWorks OpenSpeech Recognizer software and the natural sounding voice quality of Speechify text-to-speech (TTS) software. "This agreement strengthens our existing business relationship with SpeechWorks and adds to our impressive list of distribution partners. SpeechSite 3.0 combines the LocusDialogSTS platform with SpeechWorks' speech recognition and TTS software to support organizations ranging from a few hundred to tens of thousands of employees with menus to direct callers from departments to individuals, call forwarding, voice activated outbound dialing, and database and directory integration including support for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to manage large name lists. SpeechSite packages include installation and training for rapid deployment. Comprehensive support options are also available with SpeechSite from SpeechWorks. The LocusDialogSTS platform is a solution that includes an Intel-based Dell Server, Intel telephony cards, Microsoft database connectivity and SpeechWorks OpenSpeech Recognizer and Speechify software.
