Tech S2 Releases CaseScribe Wireless Dictation and Transcription Service

LANSING, N.Y. - Tech S2, Inc. released CaseScribe, a wireless dictation and Web-based transcription service combining speech recognition and the Internet in a wireless dictation and transcription solution.

Using voice recognition technology, CaseScribe captures remotely dictated voice notes, transcribes them, and makes the transcription available via any standard Web browser.  Using CaseScribe's PDA voice recording software, users dictate remotely using a Windows Mobile handheld PDA (with wireless Internet access) or PDA phone (with Internet access), as a voice dictation recorder input device.  The dictations are then uploaded to the CaseScribe application server and the transcribed dictation is stored, and ready for review.  Using the CaseScribe Web site, users or their staff can review, edit, copy and email their transcriptions as well as listen to the original dictation.  In addition, users can drag and drop the transcription text into their patient record, or electronic medical record (EMR) system.  CaseScribe transcriptions can be edited by the existing office staff or the physician.

CaseScribe is HIPAA compliant, utilizing 128 bit SSL technology data encryption, and redundant, mirrored servers.  CaseScribe utilizes ScanSoft Dragon NaturallySpeaking enabling the conversion of speech into text, supporting multiple languages and medical vocabularies.
