iVoice Announces User Interface Enhancements to its TAPI Name Dialer

MATAWAN, NJ -- iVoice Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IVOC), a provider of speech recognition technology, announced new user interface enhancements to its speech-enabled call initiating software solution, enabling pop-up contact information. Now iVoice Name Dialer users are able to view their contact information simultaneous to their request to initiate an outbound call. By speaking into the PC's microphone, the user speaks the name of the person they wish to contact and an on screen pop-up window displays the intended contact information (names and phone numbers) from contact management programs such as Microsoft Outlook, ACT and Goldmine. The Name Dialer then dials the contact without the user having to pick up their phone to dial. The use of Telephone Application Program Interface or TAPI, allows iVoice to integrate into different telephone private branch exchange systems (or PBXs), eliminating the need for additional external hardware. Each phone system hardware provider provides a specific software driver that interfaces directly with the iVoice Name Dialer. TAPI provides an interface for dialing and disconnecting.
