Nuance Dragon Dictation and Search Apps Now Available in Slovakia
Nuance Communications today announced the continued Eastern European expansion of the Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search apps with their free availability for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in the Slovakia App Store. Supporting the Slovak language, Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search let iOS consumers dictate SMS text messages, email, social media updates, mobile Web searches, and more, up to five times faster than typing.
"Following the successful launches of the Dragon Apps in the Czech Republic and Romania, we're very excited to bring the power of Dragon to Slovakia," said Michael Thompson, executive vice president and general manager of Nuance Mobile, in a statement. "Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search continue to showcase the global demand for mobile voice experiences."
Dragon Dictation is iOS-5 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons that enable users to access email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation also includes an Auto Save function that retains dictated text when the user is interrupted by an incoming phone call.
Dragon Search allows users to speak any search query to find information and knowledge on the mobile Web. Dragon Search featuresNuance's Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers search results within seconds across multiple channels, including Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, and YouTube, at once.
Both Dragon Dictation and Dragon Searchare available for free from the Apple App Store in Slovakia.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are also available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and United States.
