Kurzweil Educational Systems Appoints New York Regional Manager

Kurzweil Educational Systems, Inc. has appointed Ed Smith to regional manager for New York. He will be responsible for sales within the state for both Kurzweil 3000, reading, writing and learning software for struggling students and Kurzweil 1000, reading software for individuals who are blind.

Approximately 12 years later, he joined the full-time faculty at Kutztown University as associate professor in special education and spent six years preparing teachers in special education. Smith holds master's degrees in both general education and special education.
