Conexant AudioSmart Certified for Skype for Business
Audio and imaging technology provider Conexant Systems is introducing the world's first PC to receive Microsoft Skype for Business certification as a group speakerphone.
This supports and extends the Microsoft Skype for Business Group Speakerphone experience within a single, fully integrated productivity platform. The system features both hardware and software from Conexant that enable users to make and receive telephone calls directly from the PC itself.
Conexant AudioSmart 3.0 technology and Conexant's voice processing algorithms enable users to speak naturally and better hear what others are saying. It offers advanced de-reverb, superior noise reduction (on both sides of the conversation), integrated smart amplifier technology, and automatic speech recognition (ASR).
Conexant has also created a suite of technologies that intelligently sense context, leveraging information about how a device is being used to automatically optimize the end-user experience.

Conexant's AudioSmart voice technologies will enable GiGA Genie AI-infused virtual assistant media hub to provide excellent near- and far-field performance for voice interface and video conferencing.
SK Telecom worked with Conexant to producea smart speaker capable of natural language processing accurately from a distance and in noise.
Microsoft has certified Numonix's Recite recording solutions for use with Skype for Business.
The first product to emerge from the partnership between Conexant and Unisound is a voice control chip for smart air conditioners.
