Ericsson Launches "Talking Intranet" for Ericsson Employees

OLTEN, Switzerland and DUBLIN, Ireland - The new "Outspoken" service gives Ericsson's intranet a voice, allowing employees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to access internal information by dialing a local telephone number. Content from the Ericsson intranet is converted to audio by using text-to-speech technology. Sigma has been responsible for the development and implementation of the service. "Outspoken" is hosted on the VoiceXML platform of Voxpilot, the pan-European supplier of VoiceXML solutions.
