InfoTalk-Speaker Integrates with Edify's IVR System

BEIJING and HONG KONG - InfoTalk Corporation, a provider of multi-lingual conversational speech understanding technology, announced that InfoTalk-Speaker, InfoTalk's text-to-speech (TTS) engine, has been successfully integrated with the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system from Edify. The integrated system has been deployed in the customer call center for Shijiazhuang Power Supply Company in Hebei Province, China. Edify provides customers with Edify Enterprise and Virtual Customer Service Representatives (vCSR) systems, helping users retrieve information from the enterprise call centers through different channels like Internet, mobile phones and emails. InfoTalk provides a full suite of speech technology products, InfoTalk RSVP, meeting enterprises' needs in building voice-enabled applications with speech recognition, TTS and speaker authentication engines, and the VoiceXML platform. The integration of InfoTalk-Speaker and Edify's IVR system has provided the end-users of the Shijiazhuang Power Supply Company with dynamic information including electricity consumption and charges.
