Wavelink SpeakEasy Passes Motorola's Test

Wavelink's SpeakEasy voice-based warehouse application has been certified for compatibility with select Motorola warehouse computer terminals. The evaluation was conducted through Motorola Solutions' Validated Program.

Wavelink Speakeasy is a speaker-independent, terminal emulation-based voice application for the warehouse. It is a software-only solution hosted entirely on mobile devices rather than an external server.

Motorola Solutions' Validated Program enables eligible channel partners to test the interoperability of their software solutions with select Motorola Solutions' mobile computers, scanners, RFID readers, payment systems, wireless infrastructure, and mobility management software products. The program also helps partners meet user application-specific needs and reduce both the risk and the deployment time for the user.  Working closely with Motorola Solutions' engineering teams, Wavelink has tested Speakeasy for interoperability with select products, including the WT4090, WT41N0, MC75A, MC3190, MC9190,MC9500, and VC70N0.

"We always strive to make the implementation of Speakeasy voice technology and all of our products as easy as possible for our customers," said Kelly Ungs, senior director for channel sales at Wavelink, in a statement. "With the completion of the Motorola Solutions' validation, customers can have confidence that the implementation will be quick and easy, with no device compatibility issues to hinder the process."
