Mutare Releases Enterprise Visual Messaging (EVM) 3

Today, Mutare introduced its next-generation unified messaging application, EVM3. EVM (Enterprise Visual Messaging) converts voice messages to text with Mutare's giSTT Voice to Text technology and delivers them to email, IM, SMS, and CRM systems.

EVM3 delivers a sound file attachment along with text transcription or, alternately, can stream the message so there is no local storage of data. The EVM3 mobile app provides users with a scrolling visual voicemail display of their messages on their smartphones as well as business/cellular voice message consolidation with quick greeting changer capabilities. And, with EVM3's control links, users can remotely manage the contents of their voice mailboxes with a single click. The mobile app also supports Visual Voicemail, greetings, and message consolidation.

The application is clientless, so there is no desktop software or IMAP4 mailbox to configure, and it works with virtually all enterprise voicemail systems, email programs, and Internet-enabled devices, according to the company.
