Pronexus Partners with Bludis

Pronexus today entered into a strategic partnership with Bludis, an Italian value-added distributor specializing in software distribution.

Pronexus is the developer of VBVoice, a rapid application development (RAD) toolkit for interactive voice response (IVR) applications.  Bludis—which operates via a channel of more than 5,000 resellers, value-added resellers, and system integrators—will help Pronexus increase its competitive footprint in Italy.

Pronexus Territory Sales Manager Henrique Carvalho—who works to develop new business in Europe, Canada, South America, Africa, and the Middle East—says Pronexus studied Bludis prior to entering into discussions with the company in October of last year.

“We finally signed an agreement where they are going to be distributing and representing Pronexus,” Carvalho says, noting that the deal is limited to Italy for now, but will expand to other markets in the future. “I believe it is a deal that will benefit both companies.”

Carvalho says the company noticed increasing requests for VBVoice in Italy, something he credits in part to the fact that the solution is the only rapid application development solution that features a graphical user interface that allows for drag and drop.

“It’s fairly easy, even for people who don’t have much experience,” Carvalho says. “We have all the prompts prerecorded so you don’t have to write the codes…It’s an easy to use type of application.”

“As a Dialogic distributor, we receive daily requests for an IVR toolkit that is easy to use with dialogic boards and [Voice-over Internet Protocol] software, while at the same time providing a seamless integration with the .NET environment,” Marco Finocchi, product manager of enterprise communications at Bludis, said in a statement. “With this partnership, VBVoice completes our product line with a toolkit that leverages familiar programming skills and shortens the learning curve.”
